Biobased polyester polyols

The production of polyester polyols—once a field of industrial chemistry—is now increasingly being integrated with ecology and eco-design. Technological advancements allow for the creation of components with previously unattainable properties. The result of this development and our experience are the polyols from the BIO series.

High BIO material content

BIO Polyols – The Future of the Manufacturing Industry

Biocomponents in the chemical industry represent a groundbreaking and highly desirable solution. The presence of natural-origin ingredients in polyols impacts:

Compliance with regulations for producing more environmentally friendly materials,
Reduction of one’s own carbon footprint,
Decrease in the carbon footprint of manufacturers using biocomponents,
Tangible improvement in the purity of the natural environment.

Thanks to the concept of eco-design, when designing and synthesizing components from the BIO series, we can speak of both sustainable production and measurable environmental impact.

Biobased Polyol Series

With the dedication of our technologists, we have developed an entire line of BIO polyols. Our know-how has expanded our product portfolio to include:

A dedicated polyol created for a major player in the construction industry,
Polios R200B with a very high content of plant-derived raw materials,
A range of products with biocomponent content tailored to our clients’ specifications.

Polios R200B is a groundbreaking solution that significantly contributes to achieving ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategy goals—a factor gaining importance on the international stage. In this case, the content of BIO ingredients and recycled materials is at least 65%.

At the request of our clients, we can design formulations containing the desired amount of biocomponents.

Product Technologist

We listen to our clients’ needs and create solutions. In the coming years, the most pressing need for the polyester polyol industry will be to reduce environmental impact through the use of renewable raw materials.

Plant-derived components should be considered renewable resources when implementing a consistent sustainable production policy.

Our patented technology for recovering polyols from by-product streams also allows for the use of renewable materials.

Additionally, our BIO polyol line contains up to 19% recycled PET ingredients, and the large production of PET bottles makes this a renewable resource as well. We also offer polyols with rPET content of 60% or more.

Our products significantly reduce a company’s carbon footprint, aligning with effective implementation of EU directives. This is confirmed by the certifications and attestations for our polyols, ensuring high-quality products validated by appropriate certifications.
