Use of rPET in polyester polyol synthesis: environmental and industrial benefits

rPET, or recycled polyethylene terephthalate, is a material suitable for multiple reprocessing. Utilizing rPET in the synthesis of polyester polyols positively impacts the mechanical and flammability properties of the resulting products. The use of recycled materials reduces their negative environmental impact, energy consumption, and, consequently, the carbon footprint.
