It is an excellent example of the practical application of circular economy principles, focusing on creating renewable and sustainable resources while minimizing waste. Through an advanced polyurethane dust processing method, we produce high-quality polyester polyol that can be reused in the production of PIR panels.

PU Dust technology

The PU Dust technology is based on the chemical decomposition of polyurethane foam. After the initial cleaning of the raw material, the polyurethane dust can be entirely processed into polyester polyol and then reused in polyurethane production. The polyols obtained through this method retain all their properties. This led to the development of our product, which consists of over 65% sustainable bio/recycled materials.

Several years of efforts to develop the closed-loop technology for PU dust have culminated in success with the creation of a unique PU recycling technology. Products developed from the by-products of polyurethane production, thanks to the dedicated work of our R&D department, fully meet the requirements set for standard anhydrous polyols, allowing them to effectively replace these products on a large scale.
