The implementation, management and improvement of the management system in accordance with the ISO requirements is not only the requirement of the marketplace, but also the confirmation of the involvement and modern approach to business. Purinova’s Integrated Management System is based on three standards. These are: ISO 45001:2018. ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.

All suppliers and contractors are verified and supervised. The laboratories work 24-hours per day, and the modern equipment used is under constant control.

Care for the employees: ISO 45001:2018 “Occupational health and safety management systems — Requirements with guidance for use.”

The ISO 45001:2018 norm defines the requirements regarding the occupational health and safety management systems including guidance for use. Its implementation allows us to identify the potential employee hazards, and to implement preventive measures, which translates into the improvement of occupational health and safety. The compliance of our management system with the requirements of ISO 45001:2018 was verified by the auditors from an external, independent certification unit – DNV. In effect, we have obtained a certificate confirming that Purinova meets the requirements of the Occupational health and safety management system.

We pay particular attention to zarządzania bezpieczeństwem i higieną pracyoccupational health and safety management. . Our organisation is created by employees, whose safety is the key value for us. We listen to their requirements and expectations; we consult proposed solutions and planned changes. We prevent accidents and occupational diseases, and we also survey and eliminate the causes of dangerous incidents to ensure that our workplaces remain secure.

How was the implementation of ISO 45001:2018 carried out, based on ISO 45001:2018?

We have started the implementation process by carrying out the so-called gap analysis, i.e., defining what should be done in order to fully meet the demands of the new standard. We have developed a plan which involved the employees of all the divisions of the company. In result of our activities, we have decided on a mechanism for consultation with employees – we have carried out the selection of the representative of the employees and introduced the procedure of consultations and reports. All the processes were covered by an internal audit of the compliance with the requirements of the new norm. We have also organised a series of internal trainings.

Think globally, act locally: ISO 14001:2015 “Environmental management systems — Requirements with guidance for use”

Environmental management system in accordance with the ISO 140001:2015 standard in Purinova, was based on:

• analysis and assessment of the environmental aspects,
• reduction of hazards,
• prevention and mitigation of the negative impact on the natural environment,
• efficient waste management in accordance with the legal regulations.

Environmental management system certified for compliance with ISO 14001 brings the best practice for proactive counteraction of the organisation’s negative environmental impact. It requires to set goals and to introduce measures, which are going to bring factual improvement to the processes inside the company.

We have high demands

We are aware of the internal and external factors which make up the business environment. We know the requirements of our clients, as well as those of other parties who are interested in our activities. We monitor the law as well as all other requirements which impact our decisions, and we carry out regular assessment of their compliance. We manage by processes; we analyse and assess the risk. We continue to improve ourselves and verify the effectiveness of the measures we are taking. We work based on an Integrated Management System Policy and we set out goals, but the elasticity and agility allow us for an effective use of our chances. We employ competent workers; we engage in trainings and carry out regular internal audits. Their positive results typically confirm the correctness of our strategy.
