#PositiveChemistry is a slogan that we believe perfectly describes the positive impact of chemistry on the relationship between the environment, economy and people. We believe that by basing the development of our company on these three pillars, we can achieve true, sustainable success.

Meet our #PositiveClimate!
Our organization has been growing sustainably since its inception. Before EU directives mandated respect for the environment and raw materials as a result of the company’s development, we already had patented production of polyols using by-product streams.
The point of our business is to operate according to the principles of a closed loop economy. From turning back PIR dust to produce polyols, to using PET flakes to draw from byproduct streams.
Our organization is growing and so is our portfolio. Each new product is developed in accordance with eco-design principles.
Eco-design at Purinova:

We select raw materials so that they come from sustainable sources, such as bio or recycled raw materials

Before starting the design, we look for better and more sustainable solutions than those present in the market

We plan to formulate new products so as to do as little experimentation as possible and thus use fewer raw materials. An experiment gone wrong? Nothing wrong with that! We are able to return the byproduct stream from experiments back into circulation and use it on another project

Development sometimes confronts us with a choice. The construction of new facilities at our site involved a small amount of tree cutting. The #PositiveClimate is a sense of responsibility in this aspect as well, so every plant that was cut down was replaced with new trees planted in a place that is safe for growth.
We count the carbon footprint! Experts in our organization keep a close eye on the carbon footprint of the entire company, as well as specific products. The result of this analysis and the introduction of measures was to reduce carbon by as much as 17% in 2023 compared to the previous year.

Without the team, there is no product. Without satisfied, competent and developing employees, there is no growth for the entire organization. We are well aware of this, therefore:

The crux of Purinova’s business is based on the use of by-product streams, which is part of our mission to help partners achieve their 2050 goals.
