New film for Purinova titled “Eco Design”!

In our latest brand promotional film, we will showcase the concept of eco-design—an approach that is a cornerstone of our company at every stage of design, creation, production, and transportation. Just like in the first part, which presented the idea of a circular economy, the new marketing film will be based on authentic emotions, family relationships, and responsibility in both professional and personal spheres. The marketing department sincerely thanks everyone who contributed to this project. Regardless of your role in the film or your assistance in organizing the shooting schedule—we are grateful! With such a team, we can undertake even bigger projects!

We would like to thank our employees for their dedication during the filming. Many of you stayed at work longer specifically for this purpose. Thanks to you, this film will fully reflect the professionalism of our brand.

The premiere of our film is coming in April!

Film “Eco Design” – Premiere

Sustainable development is at the heart of our innovations! That’s why we created a film about the concept of “Eco Design.”

Our organization is rapidly growing, and with it, our product portfolio is expanding. We are introducing new products with eco-design in mind to create valuable solutions in line with sustainable development principles.

What is eco-design?

  • Sustainable sourcing: We ensure that our raw materials come from sustainable sources, such as bio-based materials or recycled content. We only select those with minimal impact on the natural environment.
  • Innovative and sustainable solutions: Even at the conceptual stage, we seek better and more eco-friendly solutions than those currently available on the market. Our goal is to create products that are not only innovative but also environmentally friendly.
  • Optimization of design processes: Our design processes are optimized to minimize the number of experiments, allowing us to save raw materials. Even if an experiment doesn’t yield the expected results, we can repurpose the byproducts in other projects, eliminating waste.
  • Renewable energy production: Our manufacturing is based on renewable energy sources. This reduces CO2 emissions and minimizes our carbon footprint, contributing to the protection of our planet.
  • Intermodal transport: We use intermodal transport to deliver our products to customers. This logistical solution helps us reduce pollution emissions, taking another step towards sustainability.

U-TECH Fair

From April 23 to 25, the UTECH Europe polyurethane industry fair took place in the Netherlands. Of course, we couldn’t miss such an important industry event.

For three days, our colleagues from the sales, marketing, and business development departments showcased Purios and Puroxen systems, polyurethane adhesives, and polyester polyols. It was also a great opportunity to meet many business partners.

Our booth definitely stood out, as noted by many visitors and other exhibitors. It was certainly the most photographed booth, proving that we presented a unique design.

Thousands of visitors stopped by to talk to us, and it’s no wonder. The most interest was generated by furniture made from cardboard and the wall displaying our Polios R200 with the slogan “minimum 65% bio and recycled ingredients.”

A new milestone with the ISCC PLUS certificate.

We are pleased to announce that our company will soon obtain the ISCC PLUS (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) certificate. This is one of the most recognized quality symbols in the world.

ISCC PLUS is a certification system for the chemical industry, among others. Companies that can accurately demonstrate the flow of biocomponents and other eco-friendly raw materials within a sustainable supply chain apply for it. It is a testament to our commitment to creating high and transparent quality standards, as well as a meaningful invitation for business partners from around the world to collaborate.

The positive opinion of the auditors reflects our care for both product quality and minimizing environmental impact. It confirms the effectiveness of our years of efforts. We can now be sure that our production standards—from formulation to finished product—effectively reduce greenhouse gas emissions and meet the appropriate international level.

6 Principles of Sustainable Development under ISCC PLUS:

  • Protection of areas with high biodiversity or rich in carbon.
  • Sustainable production to protect soil, water, and air.
  • Safe working conditions.
  • Respect for human rights, workers’ rights, and land rights.
  • Compliance with international law.
  • Good management practices and continuous improvement.

The ISCC PLUS certificate is confirmation of our active participation in raising standards in the chemical industry, of which we can all be proud.

Economic unity for the social goal “Safe Way to Work”!

We are pleased to announce that the social and economic project initiated by our company, in collaboration with businesses on Jakób Hechliński Street, aimed at improving the safety of pedestrians and cyclists, has been successful. As part of this initiative, we met with the Mayor of Bydgoszcz, Rafał Brusk, and representatives of the City Roads and Public Transport Authority in Bydgoszcz. Thanks to the application submitted by businesses from our area, we have initiated the process of modernizing this important road.

As part of the modernization, the following works will be carried out:

  • Closure of a section to vehicle traffic by installing bollards.
  • Repair of the surface by filling in the potholes with bitumen.
  • Renovation of lighting, installation of new LED lamps (5 on the straight section and 2 at intersections).
  • Clearing bushes that obstruct the path.
  • Marking the route as pedestrian-bicycle, using vertical and horizontal signs.
  • Construction of new sidewalk sections at the intersection with Kielbicha Street and near the former entrance to the Zachem site, for better segregation of pedestrian traffic.

The modernization is necessary because the current state of the road does not ensure the safety of pedestrians and cyclists. There is no sidewalk or adequate lighting. After the work is completed, the safety of people moving between the Zachem gate and the Hechliński-Kielbicha intersection will significantly improve. All planned activities will be completed by the end of August 2024.

We are proud of the economic unity that has allowed us to realize this project for the benefit of the local community. We appreciate the positive response from the Mayor and the City Office, who addressed the needs reported by local businesses. We hope this is just the first step towards ensuring safe communication for all employees in the Hechliński Street area. We expect that the city’s budget plans for the coming years will ultimately allow us to ensure the safety of pedestrians and cyclists along its entire stretch.

Thank you for your support and cooperation!
